Today . . . I am laughing out loud at this 3 min video clip sent to me by my good friend Jina Daigle of Creative Team Solutions.
This video is a perfect example of the "mom" voice inside our head that we all carry with us. Much different than the Inner Samurai voice within.
Watch and enjoy.
Did comedian Anita Renfroe get it right, or what!?!? Let us know your thoughts!

When I finally realized that kids are so in their now that, for them, every day is Groundhog Day (seen the movie?), I thought "I'm going to have to repeat myself daily for at least 18 years." That was so HUGE that I figured I better turn it into something rewarding, at least for myself. It's led to some of my best soul-searching. Now I can say all the things she sang about and feel sane - most of the time!

I had sent this video to all my kids. We LOVED it!! I think I've said just about everyone of those things over the years. Sad but true! My kids thought it was funny and they sat around saying "She said that to me, She said that to me!" etc. I think this one will go down in history!

For better or worse, Dana and Brenda, mom's voice is her legacy. The voice we all take with us, wherever we may roam. Then, we pass it on to our own!

My favorite part was the very end: TA DA! I believe that the wondrous applause was just as much for her courage in being that kind of mom (one who says all those things daily and doesn't go insane) as it was for the wit in composing and performing that song. Loved it, and will pass it on!

Tanya, great to have your comment! TA DA it is for getting through the song and being the kind of mom who cares enough to say all those things, over and over again. Thanks for stopping by!
